プライバシーポリシー（日本語版・正文）

Sentto 開発チーム（以下「当チーム」といいます）は、当チームが提供するスマートフォンアプリケーション「Sentto（センット）」（以下「本サービス」といいます）における、利用者の個人情報の取扱いについて、以下のとおりプライバシーポリシー（以下「本ポリシー」といいます）を定めます。

第1条（事業者情報）

第2条（収集する情報）

1. アカウント情報：メールアドレス（メール＋パスワードによる登録の場合）。「Appleでサインイン（Sign in with Apple）」でログインする場合は、ログイン提供元であるAppleから、Appleが発行する利用者識別子、メールアドレス（利用者が「メールを非公開」を選択したときは、Appleが提供する匿名転送用メールアドレス〔プライベートリレー〕）、および初回の認可時に利用者が許可した場合に限り氏名を受領します。Appleのアカウントのパスワードは当チームには提供されません。
2. 入力コンテンツ：利用者が本サービスに入力した中国語の文章（原文テキスト）。入力文章とその生成結果は、同一の入力に対する再利用（キャッシュ）のため当チームのサーバーに保存され、他の利用者への入力候補として表示される場合があります（その際、入力した利用者のアカウント情報は表示しません）。個人情報・機密情報は入力しないでください。
3. 生成コンテンツ：AIが生成した日本語の例文、ふりがな（読み仮名）、ローマ字表記、および音声合成（TTS）による音声データ
4. お気に入り情報：利用者が「お気に入り」に登録した文章の履歴
5. 利用状況データ：1日あたりのAI生成回数、機能の利用ログ、無料プラン／Pro（有料）プランの区分
6. 端末情報：OSの種類・バージョン、アプリのバージョン、端末の識別情報等の技術情報
7. 決済関連情報：本サービスの有料プラン（Pro）は、現時点ではApple App Storeのアプリ内課金では提供しておらず、当チームが案内するウェブサイトで購入できる利用コード（決済代行：Stripe, Inc.）により提供されます。クレジットカード番号等の決済情報自体はStripe, Inc.が管理し、当チームは取得しません。当チームが取得するのは、Pro会員資格の状態（有効期限等）、およびウェブサイトでの購入に伴う取引情報（購入時に入力されたメールアドレス、取引識別番号、購入日時・購入内容、購入地域、決済に用いられたカードの発行国等）のみです（送信先については第4条(4)参照）。
8. エラー・クラッシュ情報：本サービスの動作に不具合（クラッシュ・エラー）が発生した場合に、エラーの内容及び発生箇所（スタックトレース）、アプリ・端末の状態（アプリのバージョン、端末の機種・OSバージョン・言語設定）、発生直前のシステムイベント等の記録、アプリの起動・終了等のセッション情報（クラッシュの有無を含みます）、およびアプリのインストールごとに自動生成されるランダムな識別子（アカウントや端末固有のIDとは別のものです）を取得します（送信先については第4条(3)参照）。氏名・メールアドレス・入力文章・生成文章・スクリーンショットは含みません。

第3条（利用目的）

当チームは、取得した情報を以下の目的のために利用します。

1. 本サービスの提供（AIによる日本語例文生成、音声合成・再生、お気に入り管理、ログイン状態の維持等）
2. 無料プランの利用回数管理およびPro会員資格の判定
3. 本サービスの維持、不具合の調査・対応、品質改善
4. 重要なお知らせ、規約・本ポリシーの変更等の通知（メール送信）
5. 法令に基づく対応、当チームの権利・財産の保護のために必要な場合

第4条（第三者提供・外国にある第三者への提供）

当チームは、本サービスの提供にあたり、以下の外部事業者に情報を送信・処理委託します。このうち(1)(2)は日本国外（中華人民共和国）に、(3)は日本国外（米国またはEU）に、(4)は日本国外（米国）にある事業者への提供に該当します。

(1) DeepSeek（深度求索、中華人民共和国）

第三者のAIサービスへの送信：利用者が入力した中国語の文章を、AIによる日本語例文の生成のためのリクエストとして、DeepSeek社（深度求索、中華人民共和国）が提供するAIサービスのAPIに送信します。また、例文中の単語の意味を調べる機能（Pro）では、当該例文と選択された単語を同社に送信します。送信の目的は、例文・訳文・読み仮名等の生成のみです。DeepSeek社のプライバシーポリシーにより、当該情報は中華人民共和国内のサーバーに保存される旨が明記されています。本サービスはアプリ内に個別の同意画面を設けていないため、上記の送信内容・送信先・所在国を、利用登録前に本ポリシーでご確認ください。

(2) 火山引擎（Volcengine、字節跳動（バイトダンス）グループ、中華人民共和国）

AIが生成した日本語の文章テキストを、音声合成（TTS）処理のため火山引擎社のAPIに送信し、生成された音声データを受領します。

個人情報保護法第28条に基づく開示事項（(1)(2)共通）：

本人の同意：利用者が本サービスの利用登録時に本ポリシーに同意することをもって、上記(1)(2)への個人データ（入力文章・生成文章）の越境移転に同意したものとして取り扱います。同意しない場合は本サービスのAI生成機能をご利用いただけません。

(3) Sentry（提供元：Functional Software, Inc.、米国）

本サービスにアプリのクラッシュ・エラーが発生した場合、原因調査及び品質改善のため、エラー監視サービス「Sentry」（提供元：Functional Software, Inc.、米国）に以下の情報を自動的に送信します。

• エラーの内容及び発生箇所（スタックトレース）
• アプリのバージョン
• 端末の機種・OSバージョン・言語設定等の端末情報
• エラー発生直前のシステムイベント等の記録（利用者が入力した文章の内容は含みません）
• アプリの起動・終了等のセッション情報（クラッシュの有無を含みます）
• アプリのインストールごとに自動生成されるランダムな識別子

氏名、メールアドレス、学習内容（入力文章・生成文章）、スクリーンショットは送信しません。また、SDKの設定上、IPアドレスや氏名・メールアドレスを付加する機能（sendDefaultPii）は無効にしています。

上記の情報には特定の個人を直接識別する情報（氏名・メールアドレス等）は含まれておらず、原則として個人情報保護法上の「個人関連情報」に該当し「個人データ」には該当しないと考えられますが、ランダムな識別子と端末情報等の組み合わせにより間接的に個人を識別しうる可能性を否定できないため、当チームは念のため以下のとおり同法第28条に準じた開示を行います（この法的性質の整理は、弁護士による確認前の暫定的なものです）。

電気通信事業法（外部送信規律）に基づく公表事項：本サービスは、上記のクラッシュ・エラー情報の送信にあたり、電気通信事業法第27条の12に基づき以下を公表します。

本人の同意：利用者が本サービスの利用登録時に本ポリシーに同意することをもって、上記の情報送信に同意したものとして取り扱います。

(4) Stripe, Inc.（米国）

当チームのウェブサイトでPro引換コードをご購入いただく際の決済処理を、決済代行事業者であるStripe, Inc.（米国）に委託します。購入手続の画面で入力されたクレジットカード番号等の決済情報は、Stripeが直接取得・管理し、当チームは取得しません。

• Stripeが取得する情報：購入時に入力されたメールアドレス、決済情報（カード情報等）、取引記録
• 当チームがStripeから受領する情報：購入時のメールアドレス、取引識別番号、購入日時・購入内容・決済結果、購入地域、カードの発行国（第2条7参照）

本人の同意：利用者がウェブサイトでの購入手続に進むことをもって、上記の外国にある第三者への提供について、本ポリシーに同意したものとして取り扱います。同意しない場合は、ウェブサイトでの購入をご利用いただけません（Pro以外の機能は引き続きご利用いただけます）。

(5) Cloudflare, Inc.（米国／グローバル）

• メール配信：重要なお知らせ等の送信（送信元ドメイン：notify.vjiong.com）
• CDN：アプリ通信の中継
• オブジェクトストレージ（R2）：生成された音声データのキャッシュ保管

(6) Apple Inc.（米国）

• 「Appleでサインイン（Sign in with Apple）」を利用する場合の認証処理。利用者が選択した場合、Appleが利用者を認証し、当チームに利用者識別子・メールアドレス（匿名転送用アドレスの場合を含む）・氏名（初回の認可時に許可した場合のみ）を通知します。
• 「Appleでサインイン」で作成したアカウントを削除する場合の、Appleに対する連携（認可）の取消し請求（第5条7項）。このとき当チームは、削除手続の際にAppleから発行された認可コード等をAppleに送信します。

(7) サーバーインフラ（第三者提供に該当しません）

本サービスのデータベース・認証基盤（Supabase）は、当チームが日本国内のデータセンター（Kagoya）に自社で構築・運用するサーバー上で自己ホスティングしています。外部のSupabaseクラウドサービスは利用していないため、これは第三者提供ではなく、当チームが管理する環境内でのデータ処理です。

(8) 上記以外

法令に基づき開示を求められた場合、または利用者の同意がある場合を除き、上記以外の第三者へ個人情報を提供することはありません。

第5条（保存期間）

1. アカウント情報は、利用者がアプリ内でアカウント削除を実行した時点で、本サービスの運用環境から即時に削除します。電子メールでの退会（アカウント削除）のお申し出の場合は、お申し出があった日から7日以内に削除します。
2. 入力文章・生成文章・お気に入り情報は、当該アカウントが存続する限り、またはお気に入りから削除されるまで保存します。
3. 利用者は、アプリ内の「我的」（マイページ）→「删除账号」（アカウント削除）から、ご自身でアカウントを削除できます。削除は2段階の確認を経て実行され、実行後は取り消せません。削除の対象は、アカウント情報、お気に入り、学習進捗・利用状況、引換コードの利用記録、Pro会員資格の情報、および連携済みの外部ID等、当該アカウントに紐づく情報です。アプリを使用できない場合は、support@vjiong.com（第11条のお問い合わせ窓口）への電子メールでも退会をお申し出いただけます。
4. 障害復旧のためのバックアップ上の複製データは、削除後も最大14日間残存する場合がありますが、その後自動的に消去されます。この間、バックアップ上のデータを本サービスの通常の提供や他の目的に利用することはありません。
5. 購入記録の取扱い：ウェブサイトでの購入（Stripe経由）に係る取引記録（取引識別番号、購入日時・購入内容等）は、会計・税務その他の法令に基づく保存義務を履行するため、アカウント削除後も削除せず、法令で定める期間保存します。この際、取引記録に含まれるメールアドレス等は、一部を伏字にして個人を直ちに識別できない形に加工したうえで保存し、上記保存義務の履行及び紛争・返金対応以外の目的には利用しません。当チームが保有するPro会員資格の情報は、アカウント削除時に削除されます。
6. 利用コードによるProの残り期間は、アカウントを削除すると失われ、返金されません。
7. 「Appleでサインイン」で作成したアカウントを削除する場合、当チームは、削除の手続の中でAppleによる再認証をお願いし、Appleに対して当該アカウントと本サービスとの連携（認可）の取消しを請求します。取消しが完了しなかった場合は、取消しをやり直していただくためにアカウントの削除を完了せず、その旨をお知らせすることがあります。Appleによる再認証を行えない等の事情がある場合は、取消しを行わずに削除を続行することができますが、その場合はiPhoneの「設定」→ご自身の名前（Apple Account）→「Appleでサインイン」（中国語表示では「设置 → Apple 账户 → 通过 Apple 登录」）から、利用者ご自身で本サービスとの連携を解除してください。

第6条（利用者の権利）

利用者は、当チーム所定の方法により、当チームが保有する自己の個人情報について、開示、訂正、追加、削除、利用停止を請求することができます。当チームは、ご請求から3営業日以内に電子メールにて対応します。請求は第11条のお問い合わせ窓口までご連絡ください。

第7条（Cookie等のトラッキング技術・アクセス解析）

本文書作成時点において、当チームは本サービス内でGoogle Analytics等の第三者アクセス解析ツールを導入していません。将来的に導入する場合は、本ポリシーを改定のうえ、その旨を利用者に告知します。

なお、本サービスは画面表示用のフォント（Noto Sans SC、Zen Maru Gothic）を、Google LLC（米国）のフォント配信サービス（Google Fonts）から取得します。その際、お使いの端末のIPアドレス等の通信情報がGoogleに送信されます。当チームはこれらの情報を取得・保存しません。

第8条（児童のプライバシー）

本サービスは13歳未満の児童を対象としていません。13歳未満の児童の個人情報を当チームが誤って取得したことが判明した場合、速やかに削除する等の適切な措置を講じます。

第9条（安全管理措置）

当チームは、取得した個人情報の漏えい、滅失又は毀損の防止その他の安全管理のため、通信の暗号化（TLS）、データベースのアクセス制御（Row Level Security等）その他必要かつ適切な措置を講じます。

第10条（本ポリシーの変更）

当チームは、法令の改正や本サービスの内容変更等に応じて、本ポリシーを変更することがあります。重要な変更を行う場合は、アプリ内またはメールにより利用者に周知します。

第11条（お問い合わせ窓口）

本ポリシーに関するお問い合わせは、以下の窓口までご連絡ください。

Sentto 开发团队（以下称"本团队"）就旗下应用程序「Sentto（センット）」（以下称"本服务"）中用户个人信息的处理方式，制定本隐私政策。

第1条（运营主体信息）

第2条（收集的信息）

1. 账号信息：邮箱地址（邮箱+密码注册时）。使用「通过 Apple 登录（Sign in with Apple）」时，会从登录提供方 Apple 获取：Apple 生成的用户标识符、邮箱地址（若用户选择「隐藏邮件地址」，则为 Apple 提供的隐私中继匿名邮箱），以及仅在首次授权时经用户允许的姓名。您的 Apple 账号密码不会提供给本团队。
2. 输入内容：用户在本服务中输入的中文原文文本。输入文本及其生成结果会为同一输入的复用（缓存）而保存在本团队服务器上，并可能作为输入联想展示给其他用户（展示时不会显示输入者的账号信息）。请勿输入个人信息或机密信息。
3. 生成内容：AI 生成的日语例句、假名注音、罗马音，以及文本转语音（TTS）生成的音频数据。
4. 收藏信息：用户收藏的句子记录。
5. 使用情况数据：每日 AI 生成次数、功能使用日志、免费/Pro（付费）会员状态。
6. 设备信息：操作系统类型与版本、App 版本、设备识别信息等技术信息。
7. 支付相关信息：本服务的 Pro 付费方案目前不通过 App Store 内购提供，而是通过本团队网站购买的兑换码（支付代理：Stripe, Inc.）提供。信用卡号等支付信息由 Stripe, Inc. 管理，本团队不会获取。本团队仅获取 Pro 会员资格状态（有效期等），以及网站购买产生的交易信息（购买时填写的邮箱地址、交易编号、购买时间・购买内容、购买地区、支付所用银行卡的发卡国等）（发送对象参见第4条(4)）。
8. 错误・崩溃信息：本服务发生动作异常（崩溃/错误）时，会获取错误内容及发生位置（堆栈信息）、App 与设备状态（App 版本、设备机型・系统版本・语言设置）、发生前的系统事件等记录、App 启动・退出等会话信息（含是否崩溃），以及随 App 每次安装自动生成的随机标识符（与账号及设备固有 ID 无关）（发送对象参见第4条(3)）。不包含姓名・邮箱地址・输入文本・生成文本・截图。

第3条（使用目的）

1. 提供本服务（AI 生成日语例句、语音合成与播放、收藏管理、维持登录状态等）。
2. 管理免费方案的使用次数并判定 Pro 会员资格。
3. 维护本服务、调查处理故障、改进质量。
4. 发送重要通知、条款及本政策变更等通知（邮件）。
5. 依据法令要求进行应对，或为保护本团队权利与财产之必要。

第4条（第三方提供・向境外第三方提供个人信息）

本团队在提供本服务过程中，会向以下境外（含中国大陆）第三方发送/委托处理信息。其中(1)(2)属于向日本境外（中华人民共和国）事业者提供个人信息，(3)属于向日本境外（美国或欧盟）事业者提供信息，(4)属于向日本境外（美国）事业者提供信息。

(1) DeepSeek（深度求索，中华人民共和国）

向第三方 AI 服务发送：将用户输入的中文文本作为 AI 生成日语例句的请求内容，发送至 DeepSeek（深度求索，中华人民共和国）提供的 AI 服务 API。此外，在查词义功能（Pro）中，会把所在例句与所选单词发送给该公司。发送目的仅限于生成例句・译文・假名注音等。根据 DeepSeek 隐私政策，相关信息会保存在中华人民共和国境内服务器。由于 App 内未设置单独的同意界面，请在注册使用前通过本政策确认上述发送内容、发送对象及所在国。

(2) 火山引擎（Volcengine，字节跳动集团，中华人民共和国）

将 AI 生成后的日语文本发送至火山引擎 API 用于语音合成（TTS），并接收生成的音频数据。

依据日本《个人信息保护法》第28条的披露事项（(1)(2)共通）：

用户同意：用户在注册使用本服务时同意本政策，即视为同意将个人数据（输入文本、生成文本）向上述(1)(2)进行跨境传输。若不同意，将无法使用本服务的 AI 生成功能。

(3) Sentry（提供方：Functional Software, Inc.，美国）

本服务在发生 App 崩溃或错误时，为进行原因调查与质量改善，会自动向错误监控服务「Sentry」（提供方：Functional Software, Inc.，美国）发送以下信息：

• 错误内容及发生位置（堆栈信息）
• App 版本
• 设备机型、操作系统版本、语言设置等设备信息
• 错误发生前的系统事件等记录（不包含用户输入的文本内容）
• App 启动・退出等会话信息（含是否崩溃）
• 随 App 每次安装自动生成的随机标识符

不会发送姓名、邮箱地址、学习内容（输入文本・生成文本）、截图。此外，SDK 设置中已关闭附加 IP 地址及姓名・邮箱的功能（sendDefaultPii）。

鉴于上述信息不包含可直接识别特定个人的信息（姓名・邮箱等），原则上应属于日本《个人信息保护法》中的"个人关联信息"而非"个人数据"，但考虑到随机标识符与设备信息组合后仍存在间接识别个人的可能性，本团队出于谨慎起见，仍参照该法第28条进行如下披露（该法律定性属律师最终确认前的暂定整理）。

依据《电气通信事业法》（外部发送规律）的披露事项：本服务在发送上述崩溃/错误信息时，依据《电气通信事业法》第27条之12披露如下事项：

用户同意：用户在注册使用本服务时同意本政策，即视为同意上述信息的发送。

(4) Stripe, Inc.（美国）

用户在本团队网站购买 Pro 兑换码时的支付处理，委托支付代理商 Stripe, Inc.（美国）进行。购买页面中输入的信用卡号等支付信息由 Stripe 直接获取和管理，本团队不会获取。

• Stripe 获取的信息：购买时填写的邮箱地址、支付信息（银行卡信息等）、交易记录
• 本团队从 Stripe 接收的信息：购买时的邮箱地址、交易编号、购买时间・购买内容・支付结果、购买地区、发卡国（参见第2条7）

用户同意：用户进入网站购买流程，即视为依据本政策同意上述向境外第三方提供信息。若不同意，将无法使用网站购买（Pro 以外的功能仍可继续使用）。

(5) Cloudflare, Inc.（美国/全球）

• 邮件发送：重要通知等的发送（发信域名：notify.vjiong.com）
• CDN：应用通信中转
• 对象存储（R2）：生成音频数据的缓存保存

(6) Apple Inc.（美国）

• 使用「通过 Apple 登录（Sign in with Apple）」时的身份认证处理。用户选择该方式时，由 Apple 对用户进行认证，并向本团队通知用户标识符、邮箱地址（含隐私中继匿名地址）、姓名（仅在首次授权时经用户允许）。
• 删除通过「通过 Apple 登录」创建的账号时，向 Apple 请求撤销授权关联（第5条7项）。此时本团队会将删除流程中由 Apple 签发的授权码等发送给 Apple。

(7) 服务器基础设施（不构成第三方提供）

本服务的数据库与认证基础设施（Supabase）由本团队自行搭建并运行在日本国内数据中心（Kagoya）上（自托管）。未使用外部 Supabase 云服务，因此这不属于向第三方提供，而是本团队自行管理环境内的数据处理。

(8) 除上述以外

除依法被要求披露，或经用户同意的情形外，本团队不会向上述以外的第三方提供个人信息。

第5条（保存期限）

1. 用户在 App 内执行删除账号时，账号信息将立即从本服务运行环境中删除。通过电子邮件提出退出（删除账号）申请的，将自申请之日起7 日内删除。
2. 输入文本、生成文本、收藏信息将保存至该账号存续期间，或至从收藏中删除为止。
3. 用户可在 App 内「我的」→「删除账号」自行删除账号。删除需经两步确认，执行后无法撤销。删除对象为与该账号关联的账号信息、收藏、学习进度・使用情况、兑换码使用记录、Pro 会员资格信息及已绑定的外部 ID 等。无法使用 App 时，也可通过电子邮件向 support@vjiong.com（第11条所列联系窗口）提出退出申请。
4. 用于故障恢复的备份副本数据，在删除后最长可能残留 14 天，此后自动清除。在此期间，不会将备份中的数据用于本服务的日常提供或其他目的。
5. 购买记录的处理：通过网站购买（经 Stripe）产生的交易记录（交易编号、购买时间・购买内容等），为履行会计・税务等法令规定的保存义务，在账号删除后不予删除，在法令规定的期间内保存。保存时，交易记录中的邮箱地址等将隐去部分字符、加工为无法直接识别个人的形式，且除履行上述保存义务及处理争议・退款外不作其他用途。本团队持有的 Pro 会员资格信息在账号删除时一并删除。
6. 通过兑换码获得的 Pro 剩余期限在账号删除后将丢失，且不予退款。
7. 删除通过「通过 Apple 登录」创建的账号时，本团队会在删除流程中请您通过 Apple 重新认证，并向 Apple 请求撤销该账号与本服务之间的授权关联。若撤销未能完成，为便于您重试，可能不会完成账号删除，并会就此向您提示。如您因故无法通过 Apple 重新认证，可在不撤销的情况下继续删除，但此时请您自行前往 iPhone「设置」→「Apple 账户」→「通过 Apple 登录」，解除与本服务的关联。

第6条（用户权利）

用户可按本团队规定方式，就本团队持有的自身个人信息，请求查阅、更正、追加、删除、停止使用。本团队将在收到请求后 3 个工作日内通过邮件予以处理。请求请联系第11条所列窗口。

第7条（Cookie 等追踪技术・访问分析）

截至本文书制作时，本团队未在本服务中引入 Google Analytics 等第三方访问分析工具。未来如引入，将修订本政策并告知用户。

另外，本服务的界面字体（Noto Sans SC、Zen Maru Gothic）从 Google LLC（美国）的字体分发服务（Google Fonts）获取，此时您设备的 IP 地址等通信信息会发送给 Google。本团队不会获取或保存这些信息。

第8条（儿童隐私）

本服务不面向 13 岁以下儿童。若发现本团队误收集了 13 岁以下儿童的个人信息，将及时采取删除等适当措施。

第9条（安全管理措施）

本团队为防止已获取个人信息的泄露、灭失或损毁，将采取通信加密（TLS）、数据库访问控制（如 Row Level Security）等必要且适当的安全管理措施。

Sentto Development Team ("we," "us," or "the Team") sets forth this Privacy Policy regarding the handling of users' personal information in connection with our mobile application "Sentto" (the "Service").

Article 1 (Operator Information)

Article 2 (Information We Collect)

1. Account information: Email address (for email/password registration). If you use "Sign in with Apple", we receive from Apple, as the sign-in provider: a user identifier issued by Apple; an email address (Apple's private relay address if you choose "Hide My Email"); and your name, only if you allow it at the first authorization. Your Apple account password is never provided to us.
2. Input content: The Chinese-language text you enter into the Service. Input text and its generated results are stored on our server so they can be reused for identical inputs (caching), and may be shown to other users as input suggestions (the entering user's account information is not shown). Please do not enter personal or confidential information.
3. Generated content: AI-generated Japanese sentences, furigana (kana readings), romaji, and text-to-speech (TTS) audio data.
4. Favorites: Records of sentences you have bookmarked/favorited.
5. Usage data: Daily AI generation count, feature usage logs, free/Pro subscription status.
6. Device information: OS type and version, app version, device identifiers, and other technical information.
7. Payment-related information: The Pro plan is currently not offered through Apple's in-app purchase; it is provided through redeem codes purchased on a website we direct you to (payment processor: Stripe, Inc.). Payment details such as credit card numbers are handled by Stripe, Inc.; we do not receive them. We only receive the Pro membership status (e.g., expiry date) and transaction information from website purchases (the email address entered at purchase, a transaction identifier, purchase date/time and items purchased, purchase region, and the issuing country of the card used) (see Article 4(4) for the recipient).
8. Error/crash information: When the app malfunctions (crashes or errors), we collect the error details and location (stack trace), app and device state (app version, device model, OS version, language setting), records of system events immediately before the error, session information such as app start/end (including whether a crash occurred), and a random identifier automatically generated for each installation of the app (unrelated to your account or any device-specific ID) (see Article 4(3) for the recipient). This does not include your name, email address, input text, generated text, or screenshots.

Article 3 (Purpose of Use)

1. To provide the Service (AI-generated Japanese sentences, text-to-speech playback, favorites management, maintaining login sessions, etc.).
2. To manage free-tier usage limits and determine Pro subscription eligibility.
3. To maintain the Service, investigate and resolve issues, and improve quality.
4. To send important notices and updates regarding these terms or this policy (via email).
5. To comply with applicable laws and to protect our legal rights and property when necessary.

Article 4 (Third-Party Disclosure and Cross-Border Transfer)

In operating the Service, we send/entrust information to the following third parties outside Japan. Items (1) and (2) below constitute provision of information to entities located in the People's Republic of China, item (3) constitutes provision to an entity located in the United States (or the EU), and item (4) constitutes provision to an entity located in the United States.

(1) DeepSeek (China)

Sending to a third-party AI service: Chinese-language text you input is sent to the API of the AI service provided by DeepSeek (China) as part of the request to generate Japanese sentences. In the word-meaning lookup feature (Pro), the example sentence and the word you select are also sent to DeepSeek. The sole purpose of this transmission is to generate example sentences, translations, kana readings and similar content. Per DeepSeek's own privacy policy, such data is stored on servers located in the People's Republic of China. Because the app has no separate in-app consent screen, please review the content sent, the recipient and its country in this Policy before registering.

(2) Volcengine (ByteDance Group, China)

The AI-generated Japanese sentence text is sent to Volcengine's API for text-to-speech (TTS) synthesis, and the resulting audio data is received back.

Disclosures required under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), Article 28 (applicable to both (1) and (2)):

Consent: By agreeing to this Policy when registering for the Service, you consent to the cross-border transfer of personal data (input text and generated text) to (1) and (2) above. If you do not consent, you will not be able to use the AI generation features of the Service.

(3) Sentry (provided by Functional Software, Inc., United States)

When the app crashes or an error occurs, we automatically send the following information to the error-monitoring service "Sentry" (provided by Functional Software, Inc., United States) for the purpose of investigating the cause and improving quality:

• Error details and location (stack trace)
• App version
• Device information such as device model, OS version, and language settings
• Records of system events immediately before the error (does not include the content of text you entered)
• Session information such as app start/end (including whether a crash occurred)
• A random identifier automatically generated for each installation of the app

We do not send your name, email address, learning content (input/generated text), or screenshots. In addition, the SDK setting that attaches IP addresses, names and email addresses (sendDefaultPii) is disabled.

Because this information does not include data that directly identifies a specific individual (such as a name or email address), it would in principle fall under "personal-related information" rather than "personal data" under Japan's APPI. However, since we cannot rule out that combining the random identifier with device information could indirectly identify an individual, we provide the following disclosure in line with Article 28 of the APPI out of caution (this legal characterization is a preliminary assessment pending confirmation by counsel).

Disclosure under the Telecommunications Business Act (external transmission rules): In connection with sending the above crash/error information, we disclose the following pursuant to Article 27-12 of the Telecommunications Business Act:

Consent: By agreeing to this Policy when registering for the Service, you consent to the above information transmission.

(4) Stripe, Inc. (United States)

Payment processing for Pro redeem codes purchased on our website is entrusted to our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. (United States). Payment details such as credit card numbers entered on the purchase page are collected and managed directly by Stripe, and we do not receive them.

• Information collected by Stripe: the email address entered at purchase, payment details (card information, etc.), and transaction records
• Information we receive from Stripe: the email address at purchase, transaction identifier, purchase date/time, items purchased and payment result, purchase region, and card issuing country (see Article 2, item 7)

Consent: By proceeding with a purchase on the website, you consent under this Policy to the above provision of information to a third party in a foreign country. If you do not consent, you will not be able to purchase on the website (features other than Pro remain available).

(5) Cloudflare, Inc. (US/Global)

• Email delivery for important notices (sending domain: notify.vjiong.com)
• CDN for application traffic
• Object storage (R2) for caching generated audio data

(6) Apple Inc. (US)

• Authentication when you use "Sign in with Apple". When you choose this option, Apple authenticates you and notifies us of your user identifier, email address (including a private relay address) and name (only if you allowed it at the first authorization).
• Requesting revocation of the authorization link when an account created with "Sign in with Apple" is deleted (Article 5, item 7). In doing so, we send Apple the authorization code etc. issued by Apple during the deletion procedure.

(7) Server infrastructure (not a third-party disclosure)

The Service's database and authentication backend (Supabase) is self-hosted by us on our own server at a data center in Japan (Kagoya). We do not use Supabase's external cloud service. As such, this does not constitute provision to a third party; it is data processing within an environment we directly manage.

(8) No other disclosures

Except as required by law or with user consent, we do not provide personal information to any third party other than those listed above.

Article 5 (Retention Period)

1. When a user deletes their account within the app, account information is deleted from the Service's operating environment immediately. For deletion requests made by email, we will delete it within 7 days of the request.
2. Input text, generated text, and favorites are retained for as long as the account exists, or until removed from favorites.
3. Users can delete their account themselves in the app under "我的" (Me) > "删除账号" (Delete account). Deletion requires two confirmation steps and cannot be undone. It covers account information, favorites, learning progress and usage data, redeem-code usage records, Pro membership information, and linked external IDs associated with the account. If you cannot use the app, you may also request deletion by email to support@vjiong.com (see Article 11).
4. Backup copies kept for disaster recovery may remain for up to 14 days after deletion, after which they are erased automatically. During that time, backup data is not used for the regular provision of the Service or for any other purpose.
5. Purchase records: Transaction records from website purchases (via Stripe), such as the transaction identifier, purchase date/time and items purchased, are not deleted when the account is deleted. They are retained for the period prescribed by law to meet accounting, tax and other statutory record-keeping obligations. The email address and similar data in these records are partially masked so that an individual cannot be readily identified, and are used only for those obligations and for handling disputes and refunds. Pro membership information held by us is deleted when the account is deleted.
6. Any remaining Pro period obtained through a redeem code is lost when the account is deleted and is not refunded.
7. When you delete an account created with "Sign in with Apple", we ask you to re-authenticate with Apple as part of the deletion procedure and request Apple to revoke the authorization link between that account and the Service. If the revocation does not complete, we may not complete the account deletion so that you can retry, and will notify you. If you are unable to re-authenticate with Apple, you may continue with deletion without revocation; in that case, please remove the link to the Service yourself from iPhone "Settings" > your name (Apple Account) > "Sign in with Apple" (shown in Chinese as "设置 → Apple 账户 → 通过 Apple 登录").

Article 6 (User Rights)

Users may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, or suspension of use of their personal information held by us, in accordance with our designated procedures. We will respond by email within 3 business days of receiving such a request. Please contact us via Article 11.

Article 7 (Cookies and Analytics)

As of this document, we do not use third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics within the Service. If we introduce such tools in the future, we will revise this Policy and notify users accordingly.

In addition, the Service obtains its display fonts (Noto Sans SC, Zen Maru Gothic) from the Google Fonts delivery service of Google LLC (United States). When doing so, communication information such as your device's IP address is sent to Google. We do not obtain or store this information.

Article 8 (Children's Privacy)

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take appropriate action, including deletion of such information.

Article 9 (Security Measures)

We implement reasonable and appropriate security measures to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of personal information we hold, including encrypted communications (TLS) and database access controls (e.g., Row Level Security).

Article 10 (Changes to This Policy)

We may revise this Policy in response to changes in applicable law or the Service. In the event of a material change, we will notify users via the app or by email.
